TERMS
The rules for using the Five Stack website and buying things from it. Written by humans, not lawyers, on purpose — but we still have to be precise.
Who we are
Five Stack is a brand operated by [Legal entity name TBD], a company registered in Hong Kong. All products on this site are sold by us, except where explicitly noted (e.g. Kickstarter pledges, which are handled by Kickstarter's terms).
Using the site
You can use it. Please don't:
- Try to break it on purpose
- Scrape it without asking
- Impersonate us
- Resell our trademarks or characters without permission
Buying things
When you place an order, it's a request to buy — we confirm by sending you a confirmation email. If something is mispriced or out of stock by the time we see your order, we'll let you know and refund you. We reserve the right to cancel orders that look fraudulent.
Blind box format
A blind box means you don't choose which figure you get. That's the point of the format. We can't accept returns based on "I didn't get the one I wanted" — please don't ask, because we will say no. (Damage in transit or a defective product is different — see Refunds.)
Intellectual property
The Five Stack name, the Five Stack wordmark, the Licky Friends characters and all their variants, illustrations, packaging artwork, and the contents of this website are our intellectual property. You can post photos of figures you've bought (please do, in fact); you can't reproduce or resell the artwork.
Liability
We try to make this site work and to ship boxes that arrive intact. If something goes wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid us. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes go to the courts of Hong Kong.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll update the date at the top of the page when we do.
